We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Mechanic to join our team. Responsibilities
- Assist senior mechanics with diagnosing faults and performing repairs on vehicles or machinery
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections
- Learn to use specialised tools and diagnostic equipment effectively
- Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment to ensure safety standards are met
- Support the preparation of parts and materials required for repair jobs
- Follow safety procedures diligently during all tasks to prevent accidents or injuries
- Document work carried out accurately in accordance with company protocols
Experience
- No prior professional experience necessary; however, a keen interest in mechanics and technical subjects is preferred
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems or previous exposure to automotive or machinery work is advantageous
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential
- Good organisational skills with the ability to follow instructions carefully
- Willingness to learn new skills and undertake training programmes provided by the employer
- A valid driving licence is desirable but not mandatory at application stage
